  • Contrast-induced nephropathy (CIN) and PCI in CKD patients have high adverse CVS outcomes.
  • Zero-contrast PCI or ultra-low contrast PCI is an attractive option.
  • Use of high resolution IVUS guidance and learning the navigation technology using anatomical landmarks, vessel calcium, IVUS guidance is critical. Of late, live IVUS-guided PCI and saline OCT are emerging as attractive options in these challenging scenarios.
